Immeubles Dion is looking for a Buyer / Estimator to support its construction projects. If you’re thorough, proactive, and detail-oriented, this position is for you!
🎯 What you'll be doing
- Gather and analyze information from plans, specifications, and project documentation
- Estimate costs (labour, materials, equipment, subcontractors) according to project requirements
- Prepare bids and adjust estimates based on changes and addenda
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors and maintain strong business relationships
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure information is properly transferred and project execution is monitored
- Take part in the continuous improvement of estimation processes and the integration of new technologies
- Perform any other related tasks
🧩 What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professionalism, discretion, and respect for confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to write clear and professional documents
- Reliability, punctuality, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
